Product Description

Permanence — 405 ADIn 405 AD, Mesrop Mashtots gave the Armenian language a written form — and gave a people a way to carry their identity beyond borders, kingdoms, and centuries. The design begins with Armenian letterforms gathered above a living grapevine. The letters represent language: distinct forms that became the structure through which Armenian thought, faith, literature, and memory could be preserved. Below them, the vine grows from a single rooted trunk and bears fruit — a symbol of continuity, cultivation, and what survives because it is carried forward. The relationship is deliberate. The alphabet is not treated as an artifact from the past. It becomes something living: rooted, branching, producing, and continuing from one generation to the next.Permanence is the result. Not permanence because history stood still — but because Armenian identity learned how to survive change.405 AD. Permanence — 405 AD

In 405 AD, Mesrop Mashtots gave the Armenian language a written form — and gave a people a way to carry their identity beyond borders, kingdoms, and centuries.

It becomes something living: rooted, branching, producing, and continuing from one generation to the next.

Permanence is the result.

Not permanence because history stood still — but because Armenian identity learned how to survive change.

405 AD. Mesrop Mashtots. A language given form. A people given permanence.
